Favorite Palettes

Hi Beauties!

Welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by, and an even bigger thank you if you are returning!

Palettes can be very expensive and there are so many out there, it can be hard to choose which ones to get. So I have picked out some of my favorite face and eye palettes that I think everyone should have. I love multi-purpose palette, and feel like if you only have to open one palette to get most of your makeup on, it is so much easier and faster.

Tarteist Blush Palette – $38.00

This has been my go to plush palette lately. The colors are just so beautiful, and even more beautiful when you mix them all together. The pigmentation is amazing and the packaging is great. This palette has shades for year round and so many mixture combinations to get your desired shade to last all day. I have a full review already, so check that out for swatches and more about this palette!

Benefit Cheeky Sweet Pot Palette – Holiday Edition (Cheekathon Blush & Bronzer Palette – $58.00)

This is probably my favorite blush palette of all time. I love Benefit as a brand in general, so to have my favorite blushes and bronzer all in one palette is just amazing. However this is limited edition for their 2014 Christmas collection, but Benefit does have another pallet out now that is extremely similar, the Cheekathon Blush & Bronzer Palette). These blushes are beautiful, creamy and last all day. The first is Dandelion, which is a beautiful baby pink that blends like a dream and is super buildable, leaving you cheeks with that baby pink glow. Next is Coralista which is a dark coral/rose shimmer, again this is beautiful and a little bit goes a long way. Then there is Sugar Bomb, this was the first blush I have ever tried from beneft, it is a swirl of peach, rose, pink and mauve color, with a slight shimmer that leave your cheeks with a beautiful rose blush color with a nice glow. On the bottom row we have the cult favorite Hoola bronzer, this bronzer is just great for all skin tones and is great for a strong contour or a nice bronzing to the face. Then there is Rockateur, which is a beautiful coarl shade with a light shimmer, this just leave such a warm glow to the face. Finally is Bella Bamba a beautiful mauve with a slight shimmer, this is one of those colors you can wear year round and looks great on everyone skin, it just gives the perfect color to your cheeks. The new palette does only have four shades instead of six, but hopefully for the holiday season they will come out with another palette as awesome as this, plus all the shades are available as individuals, so you can always get them that way as well, I just like having them all in one spot.

Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Palette – $52.00

This was just recently release and soon to be in store, but I am so in love with this palette. If you are looking for a glow this is it! The highlighter are amazing, and there are two blushes, one sheen/matte and the other is very glowy, and a bronze/blush that can be used as either, if you are look for a full glow face palette with some matte shade, this is it! I have already done a full review and swatches, so check out that post for more!

Tarte Park Ave Princess Contour Palette – $34.00

This palette comes with a bronzer, blush and highlighter, which is great if you are in a rush to have this 3-in-1 palette. I love being able to use one palette to finish my face, and this is so sleek and compact it is great to bring along with you. The bronzer is a lighter shade, which is perfect for me, but if you have a darker skintone, don’t worry, all the shades in the palette are buildable. I also love the blush, it is a more cool toned shade, which I like since I usually go for warmer blushes. This is the perfect pinky/mauvey tone. The highlight is beautiful as well and also works as an eye shadow. I like this highlight because it is subtle and great for every day wear.

Maybelline Master Contour Palette – $13.00

This is another great palette, if the Tarte Park Ave Princess palette is out of your price range, this is a great dupe. All of the shades are super creamy and blendable and go on seamlessly. I basically have the same thoughts about this as the Tarte Park Ave Princess palette, except the price is much more reasonable.

Too Faced Natural Matte Eye Palette – $36.00

I love neutral shades for the eyes, probably because they are always flattering and hard to mess them up. These nine gorgeous neutral matte shadows featured in this palette pair perfectly, blend beautifully, and are so versatile you can wear them for any occasion. This palette comes with 3 larger shades, Heaven, Lace Teddy and Nudie, which are all beautiful. Then there are six smaller shades (warm and cool toned) Cashmere Bunny, Sexspresso, Strapless, Risque, Honey Butter and Chocolate Cookie. These shadows are just so creamy and lightweight, they feel great on the eyes and look even better!

Urban Decay Naked Basics Eye Palette – $29.00

This is probably my favorite eye palette; I have actually repurchased it a few times now. I love neutral eye colors, so this is perfect. There is a beautiful shimmer shade, Venus, and 5 matte shades, Foxy, W.O.S, Naked 2, Faint and Crave. These shades are great for a sublet daytime eye, or a dark smokey eye. These shades are super blendable and all complement each other. I even Use Faint to fill in my brows in a hurry. I love palettes that are multi-use, there are endless possibilities with these 6 shades!

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette – $54.00

This is a great all around eye palette, there are so many possibilities, especially if you are looking for some shimmer. There are only 3 matte shades and 9 shimmer shades, some or more shimmery than others. These shades are all super blendable and buildable and complement each other very well. Again, these shades are on the more neutral side which is right up my alley, just added some more shades and shimmer to them. There are endless amount of eye looks you can do with this palette!

I hope you enjoyed! And thank you so much for reading!

      1. I don’t blame you, I hate spending a lot of money on a product when it doesn’t work out. But Sephora and ulta usually have a lot of small/sample sizes that are affordable, so if you end up hating them, at least you didn’t spend the full amount! I hope you find some that work out for you!
