Sephora Play Box | July

Hi Beauties!

Welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by, and an even bigger thank you if you are returning!

Todays post is about the Sephora Play Box for the month of July. I wanted to give a quick overview of about the box and what you get for anyone that is interested or is already on the waiting list.

Sephora Play is a monthly subscription that sends you five samples, plus a fragrance sample in a collectable bag for $10 a month. There is currently a limited amount of subscription available, so you have to sign up by email on the website. Once you are signed up, you will receive an email once a spot opens up, and with that email you can confirm and activate your subscription. I was on the waiting list for about a month, and just recently received my first Sephora Play box for the month of July. They also have a super fun section on the website that shows you all of the products and gives you more info about them and how to use them, which I really appreciate.

So what do you get in the box? There are a lot of beauty box subscriptions on the mark, so it can be difficult to find the one that is best for you.

FIRST AID BEAUTY Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser with Red Clay

I had never tried this product before, so I was excited to get it in the box, I love trying new cleansers. So far, I am liking it, I feel like it does a good job at cleansing the skin without drying it out.

QUAI Wave Spray

This smells amazing. My hair is pretty straight to begin with, so wave sprays usually don’t do much, but it does add some texture and volume, while leaving a very pleasant sent behind.

SMASHBOX Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer

I have actually purchased this product before, but I forgot how much I enjoy using this primer. It defiinitly does help even out texture and provide a smooth base for foundation.

I love my beautyblender, so I was excited to get this. I have tried it a few times, but I am not sure how I feel about it yet, but I will keep you updated.

TOO FACED Soleil Matte Bronzer in Chocolate

I actually own this product as well, and I have nothing bad to say about it. It smells delicious (just like chocolate), and has a beautiful color pay off. I like that it came in a small size, so I can just throw it in my bag and have it for on the go.

I am extremely picky when it comes to fragrances, but I was pleasantly surprised with this. It has a floral/citrus scent that is very light and refreshing and wears nice through the day. I don’t know that I would actually purchase it, but it is nice to have on hand or use for travel.

Lastly, you get a Sephora Play Pass, which allows you to receive a free one-on-one tutorial in your local store and 50 extra Beauty Insider point with any purchase!

That alone is well worth the $10.

All in all, I like the Sephora Play box, and I am definitely keeping my subscription to see what’s in store for next month. I love the packaging, the box it ships in, the pamphlet you get inside, and of course the cute little bag. And you are getting high end products, so the quality is definitely there, and the extra Insider Beauty points are a huge plus too. I am slightly disappointed that I got two products I have already tried before, but they are products that I like, so I can’t be too mad at it. I am excited to see what comes next!

As always, thank you so much for reading! And let me know in the comments, what you think about the Sephroa Play Box. Also, what’s on your wish list for Sephora? I love hearing your suggestions and what I should try next!
